The particular quarries over which we ask you to grant
us these terms are known as the Wa Tau Kok quarries, which are quite
a separate group situated on the East side of Kowloon.
It will be apparent that before expending a large sum in opening out a group of quarries with modern plant, railways, &c., some "fixity of tenure" and reasonable security should be assured.
